Sometimes I think I see dragons. Seriously. It's taken over thirty years, but I have finally accepted that my imagination really does run a bit more wild than most. Wanting to be a real life Sinbad the Sailor led me to working on a freighter, then doing a hitch in the U.S. Navy, and eventually working on a harbor tug boat. Many-a-time I really thought I saw a dragon or a giant or a sea monster, only to get closer and realize it was a tarp or a tree branch with a balloon in it. After years of adventuring, I finally realized that being a Mariner is a young person's game. So, I've swallowed the anchor, as the saying goes, and have decided to put my imagination to work. I hope you, too, can enjoy my fantastical imaginings.
